Moza Racing presented several new products in their simracing range at Gamescom 2024. Let’s take a look at what’s new, and dig as deep as the information available will allow! On the program: a pumped pedalboard, an active pedalboard, an unexpected Porsche steering wheel and commodos. So let’s get to it!

Well, I have to confess that I’m having trouble getting excited about this one. Why is that? Really, doesn’t it shock you? Because, for God’s sake, this CRP2 is just a replica of the Simagic P1000. From the general shape to the pedals and their mechanics, even the little circular erasers integrated by Simagic are found in the CRP2. There’s no originality, panache or prestige here. It’s a job for a photocopier. They’ve even gone so far as to copy the P1000’s optional spring kit. In short, it’s neither interesting nor subtle. But after all, as long as China doesn’t recognize intellectual property, they can go on forever!
In any case, you can already pre-order it on the Moza website, with deliveries scheduled from early October 2024.
Fortunately, they’ve come up with a few more innovative products, which I’ll tell you about below.
The Moza mBooster pedalboard, the brand’s first active pedalboard
Since the arrival of the Simucube Active Pedal, we’ve all known that several Chinese brands were on the case. Well, Moza is the first to come up with a brake with haptic feedback. Well, there’s not much more information than that about the model. Obviously, it’s a brake module that can be adapted to their other pedalsets. Or at least the CRP2, as shown in the image.
For the moment, we have no release date or price. So be patient!

So, I’ve got to say, it’s a good one! In the memory of simracers, we remember that for years, Fanatec was the first to produce Porsche steering wheels. Well, times are changing! Moza has announced the Moza Porsche Mission R, a licensed replica of the electric Porsche steering wheel.
On the menu: 4 paddles, a 5.4″ curved 720p screen, and a dozen display presets via the Moza Pit-House software. For those not satisfied with these presets, you can also create your own, or import those of other users. SimHub integration does not appear to be planned, however, so keep this in mind.
An interesting detail is to be found on the back of the steering wheel. Buttons have been inserted behind the grips, and we’ll be able to move them slightly so that they’re in exactly the right place when we need them. Now that’s an interesting idea I’d like to get my hands on!
But here again, patience is of the essence, as no price or release date has yet been announced.
Moza commodos
Compatibility | PC Moza bases. Possibility of connecting it to a third-party base using an adapter for installation, but we don’t know more at the moment. |
Configurable functions | 28 inputs |

Aaaahhh! Who hasn’t wanted to find commodos to put around their steering wheel to add a notch of realism to road vehicles? I’ll gladly plead guilty! But up until now, when you wanted to fit commodos to your simu, you either had to go the custom route, with NSH for example, or go and buy a kit on Aliexpress. Here, Moza offers a module that screws onto the front of the Direct Drive base, adding 28 functions accessible from the commodos.
Again, these are pre-orders only. First deliveries are expected in 6 to 8 weeks.
How about a shopping basket?
This concludes our tour of the new Moza products at Gamescom 2024. At least for now! I’ll update the article if the Chinese come up with any more surprises in the next few days. In the meantime, let’s have a chat about which models caught your eye.
So we’ll be in touch soon!
